Curtis Memorial Library at the Tom Settlemire Community Garden

Stay-tuned for the 2018 Program

Thanks to the generosity of the Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust, Curtis Memorial Library is pleased to host a series of hands-on workshops at the Tom Settlemire Community Garden.

Join us as in 2018 we relearn how to relax and read in the garden. Learn how to grow free plants, get produce without weeding, and create a productive space to relax and read. All garden workshops will include a parcel tour.

Unless otherwise noted, all programs will take place at the garden. The Tom Settlemire Community Garden is at the end of Maurice Drive in Brunswick, Maine. (For GPS use 90 Maurice Drive.) All programs are free and open to the public.

Please join us for the following workshops:

April – Early Bird Gardening

A workshop that goes over tricks of how to start your garden as early as possible, outdoors or in. We have a plot which we will use to demonstrate how to properly plant seeds, and use items like milk jugs to support early kale plants, and other tricks.
