What is the Curtis Friends organization?
Now in its 45th year, Curtis Friends is a non-profit organization whose 700members provide financial and volunteer support to the library.
Who are Curtis Friends?
Curtis Friends are people dedicated to building upon the excellence of Curtis Memorial Library through their financial support and engagement in library activities. They are committed to:
- Making our great library even better
- Building community
- Enhancing the library experience
How can I join?
Membership in Curtis Friends is open to anyone who pays the annual dues of $10 for a Silver membership, $20 for Gold, and $30 for Platinum. If you use the library and value its importance in the community, please consider joining! Learn more about becoming a member.
What do Curtis Friends do?
Although the library is supported mainly by public funds, Curtis Friends provide extra support that allows for more programs and special purchases. The Friends are also involved in activities that help promote and support the library:
