Collectible & Special Book Sales

The Collectible & Special Books Sale at Curtis is an opportunity for library supporters, collectors and book lovers to find high value books at reasonable cost.

The project is run entirely by Curtis volunteers, who have gleaned a few of the valuable books generously donated to Curtis for this purpose.

These titles are listed on our Collectible & Special Books List page. They are competitively priced to provide a greater boost to the Curtis Library collection fund.  Every dollar collected from the sale of these titles, less shipping, goes directly into the purchase of additional books for the Curtis Library collection.

Collectible & Special Books Sale titles are available for anyone to purchase – private collectors and booksellers alike.

The Collectible & Special Books Sale is a way to directly support the library collection. We welcome all contributions to this effort. Many thanks!

Libraries matter.

A January, 2013 report by the Pew Research Center’s Internet & American Life Project surveyed 2,252 Americans age 16 and above, and found that ninety-one percent (91%) said "public libraries are important to their communities."
