Outreach Services

Home delivery of library materials

Available to: any library cardholder who is unable to come to the library due to age, disability or illness, whether permanent or temporary, is eligible for this service provided by the Friends of the Curtis Memorial Library.

Call 725-5242, ext. 600 and leave a message asking someone to contact you.

Interlibrary Loan

If you need material in a different format (audio or large print), we will attempt to borrow it from another library.

Audiobooks and CDs

Borrow items from the library. Play on standard cassette player or CD player .

Additional items available through MINERVA interlibrary loan (see staff member for assistance)

Talking Books program (available through the Maine State Library)

provides recorded books and special players free to persons who are blind, visually impaired or have certain disabilities.
