My Minerva instructions

Log in to My Minerva (from the public catalog terminals in the library, select button near the bottom of the screen.)

• Click the button.
• Once you find the item, click on the button.

• When it is ready to pick up, you will receive a call or email.

• Pick up items at the Main Floor Lending Services Desk.

Curtis Memorial Library card holders may request books, movies and other
materials for convenient pick-up.

Find the item you want to request in our Catalog

               

• Once you find the item, click on the button.

• Type your name and library card number and click submit.

• When it is ready to pick up, you will receive a call or email.

If your request is not in a MINERVA library:

• Click on the button. If you find the book listed there,

• Click on REQUEST THIS ITEM and follow the instructions.

• Your institution is MINERVA

• Pick-up location must be Curtis Mem Lib (Brunswick).

Books usually arrive here within a week to 10 days and we will call you when they arrive to be picked up at the main floor lending desk.

If the book you are looking for is not in the Maine library networks, please telephone, email, or visit the Reference Desk and we will search for your book on our national interlibrary loan network. Books requested this way come by mail, which usually takes a couple of weeks. We try to find free sources, but lenders may charge. We will notify you when items arrive.

We can request magazine articles from other libraries, but the lenders may charge a fee for this service, which we will pass along to you. Otherwise our service is free to the borrower. You may also find free magazine/journal articles in the MARVEL! Databases.

To request materials through interlibrary loan you may:

• Call us at 725-5242, ext. 204.
• Email your request

We check our email several times throughout the day and will respond within 24 hours.
