April may bring showers, but it also brings TV Turnoff Week, a time when the Friends work with area schools to encourage children and adults to hit the "off" button.

The library sponsors daytime and evening events, which may include storytellers, entertainers, historical presentations, readings, discussion groups, poetry "slams" or crafts sessions. Snacks are an integral part of TV Turnoff Week activities!
