Friends Book Sale

With 50,0000 items available, the Friends of the Curtis Memorial Library Annual Book Sale is the largest in Northern New England. The selection is great and the prices can't be beat! Proceeds from the sale provide over 50% of the annual fundraising revenue of the Friends of Curtis Memorial Library.

The $30,000 raised in 2008 helped support youth and adult programs, outreach services to the homebound, collections, equipment, communications, and library staff development.

Hours & Prices 2009:
Thursday June 25, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm - Friends of the Library members only, 10 book limit per membership, memberships available at the door

Friday June 26, 10:00 am - 7:00 pm - hardcover $3, trade paperback $2, paperback 50 cents

Saturday June 27, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm - hardcover $2, trade paperback $1, paperback 50 cents

Sunday June 28, 11:00 am - 3:00 pm - all books $2 for a regular paper grocery bag full.
