Equipment Available:

Within the Creative Hive, we have equipment that can be used for creating things, images, digital material and more!

Cricut Maker3– this is a digital cutting and crafting tool that uses digital files to cut or draw on a variety of materials like paper, vinyl, fabric, and even wood.
Sewing Machine- the library has two sewing machines: Baby Joy and Swinger
3D Machine
Canon Image PROGRAF-Pro 1100 Printer– this printer will create posters up to 17” x 22” large. Patrons can email a file to the Help Desk or use a Creative Hive computer to create and print the image. There is a cost for poster prints, the cost is $15.00 per print. The library does provide the paper which is 17 in x 22 in and is Photo Paper with a Luster (semi gloss) finish. Patrons can bring in their own paper if they wish- print cost will be the same.

What does the library provide for patron to use while on the sewing machines?

The library has some basic sewing supplies like needles, pins, bobbins, scissors, and some thread.

What does the patron need to bring to use the sewing machine?

You will need to supply thread for your project, fabric, and any other notions to complete your project.

Creativity Software

Canva:

Canva is a graphic design platform that provides tools for creating social media graphics, presentations, postcards, promotional merchandise and websites. Patrons can use this software from a computer within the Creative Hive. This software is available on our i-mac computer.

Adobe Photoshop:

The imac in the Creative Hive has Adobe Photoshop installed. This includes the Photoshop Elements 2025 and Premiere Elements 2025 Bundle. Photoshop Elements & Premiere Elements 2025 is photo and video editing software for anyone who wants to edit and create with their photos and videos. It offers:
