35 MM Slide and Film Viewer

A 35mm slide and film viewer offers a simple way to view your old slides and film without needing a projector or advanced software.

ClearClick Video2 Digital Recorder

The ClearClick Video2Digital Converter 2.0 is a device that converts analog video signals from sources like VHS tapes, VCRs and camcorders into digital format saving them to USB flash drive or a SD card. It doesn’t require a computer for the conversion process and features a built-in LCD screen for previewing the video. The device records in SD resolution (640×480 or 720×480 pixels) and saves the output as MP4 files.

Library provides a VCR for this process, but any other connection will need to be brought in by the patron.

What does the library provide for patron to use while using the Digitization Equipment?

Our digitization equipment, the Epson FastFoto and Epson V550 Photo Scanner are linked to an Apple computer. The Slide viewer does not additional equipment to be used. The Video2Digital Recorder has a VCR connected for patrons to use. The patron will be using the computer equipment that is in the Creative Hive.

What does the patron need to bring to use the Digitization Equipment?

The patron will need to bring any photos, documents, slides, negatives, VCR tapes, etc that would be digitized.

How to use the equipment in the Creative Hive?
