If you are new to "blogging" please read the following information:

To get started, follow these steps:

  1. Log on to the Community Read Blog by connecting to www.midcoastcommread.blogspot.com
  2. Read any post, click on "Comments" below the item to read any of the comments to that posting.
  3. If you want to write a comment to one of the posts, you will need to register with BlogSpot. Near the bottom of the screen, click on the link "Sign Up Here"
  4. Enter a User Name (no spaces, and choose one that is unique, because if the name you choose has been used by someone else, you will need to redo the registration)
  5. Enter Password, Email address, and Display Name (the name that will be attached to your posts)
  6. Check "acceptance of terms" after reading the Terms of Service link
  7. Click the "Continue" arrow
  8. Close the window at this point (otherwise you will be starting your own blog - leave that for another day)
  9. Back in the "Leave Your Comment" window, type your comment, enter your user name and password, then click the "Login and Publish" button.
  10. Your comment will be posted, for the world to read.
  11. Return to the site often and check the comments. Tell your friends they can blog too!
