March 1 HighlandsBook Look group, Topsham, 11 am. Book Discussion of Kite Runner in the Maine Lodge Library.

March 5Wiscasset Public Library, 10 am. Book Discussion of Breadwinner with teens & pre-teens. Facilitated by Joan Spurgat, Children’s Librarian.

March 7Curtis Memorial Library Fireplace Room, Brunswick, 7 pm. Discussion with Ambassador Charles Dunbar, Professor of International Relations at Boston University, whose 30-year diplomatic career include d an assignment as the Charge d’Affaires in the US Embassy in Kabul during the Soviet invasion.

March 8People Plus, Brunswick , noon . Brown Bag lunch & viewing of Kandahar , followed by discussion.

March 10Curtis Memorial Library, Brunswick, 7 pm. Slides, talk & display of artifacts with Richard Lee, artist & world traveler, who taught at the International School in Kabul, Afghanistan for 5 years before & during the Russian invasion.
