At the Nubble Light in York the SAGE THRASHER was present from the 17th
until the 25th. It may still be there but our last report was on the 25th.
(There has been a sighting as of 11/28.)
York County
A KING EIDER was t the Cliff House in Ogunquit.
A RED-BELLIED WOODPECKER has been coming into a feeder in the Wells area for
two weeks.
A BALD EAGLE was along Route 1 near the Kennebunk - Arundel town line.
WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS and a CAROLINA WREN were at the Hills Beach section
of Biddeford Pool.
Greater Portland and western Maine
 On Prout's Pond off Pleasant Hill Road in Scarborough, there were 30 RUDDY
DUCKS, 10 COOT, 1 PIED-BILLED GREBE, and 8 RING-NECKED DUCKS. Off Prout's
Neck there were 37 RED-NECKED GREBES, 2 RED-THROATED LOONS, and 200
RED-BREASTED MERGANSERS.
At Chandler Gardens in Cape Elizabeth there were 15 BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS. In
Broad Cove in Cape Elizabeth there were LONG-TAILED DUCKS, HORNED GREBES,
and RED-BREASTED MERGANSERS.
A SNOWY OWL was sitting on a rock next to the water along Back Cove by
Baxter Blvd in Portland.
In Westbrook there was an adult NORTHERN SHRIKE on Scott Drive.
PINE GROSBEAKS were seen in Freeport.
In Pownal this week there were 10 PINE GROSBEAKS, 15 WILD TURKEYS, and
COMMON RAVENS.
The list from Wilton included PINE GROSBEAKS, COMMON REDPOLLS, BOHEMIAN
WAXWINGS, and HOODED MERGANSER.
Two hundred COMMON REDPOLLS, 1 BALD EAGLE, and a SHARP-SHINNED HAWK were
seen in Fryeburg.
In Sweden there were 8 BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS.
Midcoast
The list from Georgetown this week included BARRED and GREAT HORNED OWLS,
and a CAROLINA WREN.
Two BALD EAGLES were seen in Rockport.
In Warren there were 10 WILD TURKEYS.
Observed in Camden was a PINE GROSBEAK.
Out on Monhegan there were PINE GROSBEAKS, 2 COMMON REDPOLLS, 2 BALD EAGLES,
RUBY and GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLETS, MERLIN, and WHITE-THROATED and SONG
SPARROWS.
Eastern Maine
Downeast at Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge there were BALD EAGLES,
GREEN-WINGED TEAL, and HOODED and COMMON MERGANSERS.
PINE GROSBEAKS and WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS were in Charlotte.
In Edmunds there were SNOW BUNTINGS.
Central Maine
Three RED-TAILED HAWKS were seen along the interstate between Gray and
Augusta.
In Topsham this week there was a BALTIMORE ORIOLE, 1 CAROLINA WREN, and 2
BALD EAGLES.
The list from Turner included: 110 HORNED LARKS, 15 COMMON REDPOLLS, 5
AMERICAN PIPITS, 1 LAPLAND LONGSPUR, 1 PINE GROSBEAK, 1 WHITE-THROATED
SPARROW, and 2 NORTHERN HARRIERS.
PINE GROSBEAKS and an ICELAND GULL were at the dump in Augusta.
In Bangor there were three ICELAND and one first-winter LESSER BLACK-BACKED
GULL on the Penobscot River just upstream from the Veterans' Bridge today.
PINE GROSBEAKS were seen in Bangor and Dixmont.
At the Fields Pond Nature Center in Orrington there were 50 BOHEMIAN
WAXWINGS, 12 PINE GROSBEAKS, 2 RUFFED GROUSE, and a FOX SPARROW.
Five WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS were seen in Winterport.
Northern Maine
PINE GROSBEAKS and SNOW BUNTINGS were seen in Presque Isle.
 In Fort Kent this week there were BOREAL CHICKADEES and a 2ND year GLAUCOUS
GULL.
