Community Matters More

Posted by Michael Gorzka on June 9th, 2014

LaughingTricia Duchesneau, Vice President / Branch Manager, and Stephan Woods, Vice President, Regional Market Manager visited Curtis last week for a tour and to hand-deliver a $1,000 grant from Bangor Savings Bank’s COMMUNITY MATTERS MORE program.

Curtis Board Chair Kate Egan and Director Liz Doucett accepted the check.

BSB awarded $100,000 to 68 nonprofit organizations throughout the state.

The public was invited to vote for their favorite charity. Curtis was one of 20 organizations, from nearly 4,000 organizations nominated, to receive an award, and one of only two libraries in the state.

Thanks to all those who took the time to vote and/or encourage their family members and friends to vote. YOU make Curtis such a special community!
