Author Book Talk – Paula de Fougerolles, Thursday, July 18, 6:00 pm

present Paula de FougerollesCurtis Memorial Library and Saltwater Celtic Music Festival present Paula de Fougerolles, Saltwater’s 2013 Writer in Residence, Thursday, July 18 at 6:00 pm in the library’s Morrell Meeting Room.

Paula de Fougerolles, is the recipient of the Thomas J. Watson Fellowship and has a doctorate in Medieval History from the University of Cambridge.

She will present an author talk and read selections from her books.

This event is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase at the program.

As a medieval historian, de Fougerolles is deeply informed. Throughout, the reader learns of the Dark Ages’ complicated cultural scene, but this is no textbook: The characters come alive with complex inner lives. Through it all, de Fougerolles writes well. This novel will leave readers eager for more. Exciting, immersive and authentic.
