On Wednesday, March 14, at 5:30pm, the Curtis Memorial Library’s Money Works for Women program conducted a program on Managing Credit and Debt, featuring Leslie Linfield, Esq., Executive Director and founder of the Institute for Financial Literacy. The Institute for Financial Literacy is a non-profit organization whose mission is to make effective financial literacy education available to all American adults.
The program focused on how to understand and manage credit and debt, and attendees were guided by a workbook, written by Ms. Linfield, which will be given free to all who attend. Ms. Linfield is a national authority on adult financial literacy education and consumer finance issues. A noted author, Ms. Linfield has published several books on personal finance, and regularly appears on television as a personal finance expert.
This was the final program in a year-long series of financial literacy events. If you attended, we would really appreciate it if you would take a few moments to give us your feedback on the program here.
