The new OverDrive Media Console v2.0 app now allows you to search for, download, and read ebooks from your local library directly on an iPhone, iPad, or Android. You should sign up for an Adobe membership before you start browsing the MaineInfoNet Download Library on your device–it only takes a minute, and you’ll need it to check out a book.  After that, you’ll be good to go!

NOTE:  If you wish to read your ebook on an iPad, you may want to use the Bluefire app. You will need to follow a different set of instructions, and you won’t be able to download the book directly to your device.  But the text will look much, much better on the larger screen!
